Since 1965, TCCAP has been a beacon of hope and support across Coös, Carroll, and Grafton Counties. Born from President Johnson’s “War on Poverty” and the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, we’ve evolved from our early focus on emergency assistance to offering over 50 services through 14 distinct programs reaching nearly 25,000 people annually, or 1-in-6 Tri-County community members.
For six decades, we’ve taken a whole-family, whole-community approach, providing weatherization, heating assistance, early childhood education, transportation, food access, health outreach, housing support, and more. We don’t just respond to crises; we invest in long-term solutions and self-sufficiency.
This May, in honor of National Community Action Month and our 60th Anniversary, Tri-County Community Action Program (TCCAP) is proud to co-host “Hearts Across New Hampshire” (HANH) alongside the four other Community Action Agencies that comprise New Hampshire’s CAP network.
