Housing Stability

Tri-County CAP currently offers the following Housing & Stability programs, please click on a program name in blue to learn more:

Housing & Stability Services – provides support to the unsheltered and those at risk of becoming unsheltered by providing temporary solutions to homelessness and assistance securing permanent housing. TCCAP also has Permanent Supportive Housing programs for households in Coös, Carroll, and Grafton counties and specialized supportive housing services for youths ages 18-24. Our staff responds to 211 calls for homeless emergencies in the counties we serve and support area food pantries by distributing USDA/TEFAP foods.

The Tyler Blain Shelter – is a temporary emergency shelter for men that is able to house up to 8 individuals, and 1 family at a time who are experiencing housing instability. The Tyler Blain Shelter solves immediate housing emergencies and assists shelter residents to obtain permanent housing and achieve self-sufficiency.

The Burch House Shelterprovides emergency shelter and supportive services for women and children who are unsheltered. The Burch House Shelter is able to house up to 15 women and children at a time.

Cornerstone Housing North, Inc.is a 12 unit apartment building in Berlin, NH for low income seniors that is operated by TCCAP. This is made possible through funding from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Section 202 Supportive Housing Program.
