Health & Nutrition

Tri-County CAP currently offers the following Health & Nutrition programs. Please click on a program name in blue to learn more:

Head Start – A family-focused child development and preschool program serving children ages 3 to 5. Children and their families participate in activities that enhance physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development, preparing them to successfully enter kindergarten. Children do not need to be fully potty-trained to attend. Breakfast and lunch are provided. This program is FREE for income-eligible households.

Tri-County CAP Family Dentistry – A modern dental practice in Tamworth, NH, that provides quality oral healthcare to all ages. We participate in CareCredit payment plans and offer a sliding fee scale to low-income individuals who are underinsured or uninsured. New patients are always welcome!

Senior Meals of Coös County & The Berlin Senior Center – Provides congregate and home-delivered meals throughout Coös County. Meals on Wheels are delivered to individuals with disabilities and seniors who are unable to leave their homes without assistance. This program helps prevent malnutrition, ensure senior safety, and reduce isolation for homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Aging & Disability Resource Center (formerly known as ServiceLink) – Provides information, referrals, and assistance to connect older adults, adults with disabilities or chronic illnesses, veterans, and caregivers with local resources.

RSVP of Coös County – Provides volunteer opportunities for people aged 55 and older residing in Coös County. RSVP matches volunteers’ life experiences and skills to meet needs and requests from the community. RSVP is America’s largest volunteer network for people 55 and over, with more than 200,000 volunteers tackling tough issues in communities nationwide.
